AMBIENCE
The restaurant entrance is through an Italian styled wooden arch while the interior design is inspired by the stunning beauty of Japanese cherry blossom, impressive Roman architecture and the softly waive of grain fields in both Japan and Italy. Overall a cozy and welcome atmosphere, with comfortable sofas, soft lighting and a well design bar with five chairs.

Semi Di Tsubu serves Japanese-Italian inspired dishes that include, Tajima Short ribs, Tonkatsu Ramen, Cold smoked O-Toro and Ravioli. Chef Eat, the Executive Chef at Semi Di Tsubu, with passion and well honed skills is in charge of bringing modern day itameshi cuisine to Phuket. He serves a new Experience set menu which includes the excellent Oyster Katsu with Italian lemon jam, the outstanding Cold Smoked O-Toro with fresh wasabi and ponzu sauce and the house made Ravioli with Tajima wagyu, ricotta cheese and mushroom confit.
For a real taste of itameshi cuisine the Tajima Wagyu Tongue with sea salt and spring onion will delight your palate. Don’t miss the itameshi dessert, the Moji Tiramisu, a moji ball with cream cheese, coffee crumble and chocololate sauce, has a light flavor, low in sugar but well balance with the moji chewiness and the crumble, coffee jelly inside give a nice bitterness to the overall dish.
Wine list offers mainly Italian wines and a good selection of cocktails and sake. Try the Japanese Slipper or a Itameshi Martini.
